Sometimes I just can’t get between Cheesecake and waffles decide, so I just combine the two dessert favorites – et voilá: Die Cheesecake waffle is born! Whip cream cheese and eggs together until creamy. Mix in the lemon juice and vanilla extract.
Stir the sugar, flour and salt into the cream cheese mixture. Add the blueberries and fold in carefully.
For the frosting, stir the butter in a bowl until creamy. Add powdered sugar and beat for another 2-3 minutes. Fold in the cream cheese.
Put the dough in the preheated waffle iron and bake. Top the finished waffles with cream cheese frosting.
